1. Over-the-toilet shelving unit
The wall above the toilet is the biggest unused space in most bathrooms. A freestanding frame (VASAGLE and SONGMICS both make popular ones) adds three shelves with no drilling.
2. Adhesive shower shelves (no drilling)
Stick-on stainless or aluminium caddies get bottles off the bath edge and shower floor. Renter-friendly and they come off cleanly with a hairdryer.
3. Slim rolling storage trolley
A 12–15 cm wide trolley slides into the gap between the toilet and the wall, or beside the washing machine. Perfect for toilet rolls and cleaning spray.
4. Two-tier under-sink organiser
Doubles the usable space under the basin and works around the pipe. Pull-out drawers mean nothing gets lost at the back.
5. Over-door towel hooks
Five or six hooks on the back of the door hold towels and robes — and free the radiator for actually drying things.

7. Toilet roll holder with storage
A freestanding holder that stores three or four spare rolls in its stem — one item doing two jobs.
Renting? Stick to these
Numbers 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7 need no fixings at all, and the adhesive shelves (2) come off without damage. That’s a full bathroom refresh without touching your deposit.
